Psycho_onesheet

Episode 148: The Crew’s checking into room #1 at the Bates Motel to discuss the first modern horror film, Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho. This is one of the most talked about and studied films in history, and the shower scene is still shocking and inventive almost 60 years later. Hitchcock is the Master of Suspense, but make no mistake… this is a horror film! And please excuse Brian’s constant mispronunciation of Vera Miles’ name, he’s an easily excited idiot.

Ep. 146 – From Dusk Till Dawn

FromDuskTillDawn_poster

Episode 146: The Crew’s having some drinks at the Titty Twister while discussing From Dusk Till Dawn. It wasn’t the first collaboration between Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino but it’s probably their most famous. The first hour of the film is exactly what you would expect from the filmmakers of Pulp Fiction and Desperado. But the last 45 minutes shows their love for over the top exploitation cinema, which the pair nailed with their double-feature, Grindhouse (2007).
