Episode 146: The Crew’s having some drinks at the Titty Twister while discussing From Dusk Till Dawn. It wasn’t the first collaboration between Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino but it’s probably their most famous. The first hour of the film is exactly what you would expect from the filmmakers of Pulp Fiction and Desperado. But the last 45 minutes shows their love for over the top exploitation cinema, which the pair nailed with their double-feature, Grindhouse (2007).

Episode 142: The Crew’s going cop hunting with John Rambo as they discuss the 1982 action film, First Blood. They also discuss the novel, which ends differently and doesn’t allow sequels to be made. But this was Stallone’s first non-Rocky film to be a hit at the box office, so sequels followed and an 80’s action icon was born.

Mistake correction: Back to the Future was the #1 film of 1985, Rambo: First Blood part II and Rocky IV were #2 and #3.
