Episode 133: The crew’s wearing their Nike’s with Power-Laces as they discuss, Back to the Future Part II. The first sequel didn’t have the same box-office impact or rave reviews of the original, but there’s a lot to love here. All the crew and cast (expect Crispin Glover and Claudia Wells) return to make this sequel feel like a direct continuation, despite a 4 year gap between the films. The second installment’s a direct follow up to the first film and the last sequel Jamie Lee Curtis would star in until H20. The third film is a completely different story without any returning characters (including the villain, Michael Myers). Fans weren’t happy when it was first released, but Halloween III has found it’s audience on home video and TV. John Carpenter and his crew’s creative involvement stopped here in the franchise, but the Shape would be back to terrify audiences in 1988.
